When I sat down with Nik & Prima for the 1st time, I didn’t realise they were such big fans of my asian wedding photography. Prima had been following me on instagram a full 2 years before our meeting, she didn’t even bother looking at other photographers for her wedding (why can’t more brides be like this?!). Nik loved my motorsport photography and wanted to book me based on that, which is hilarious – priorities Nik!
Weddings at Manor of Groves don’t take place in the main hotel, but in a separate building on the grounds about a 5 minute walk from the main lobby. The couple made their entrances in golf carts which was so much fun, I even got Prima to hang out of the cart, she was a good sport! I made a quick slideshow of the wedding images for the reception, the guests absolutely loved them and the couple couldn’t wait to see the rest of the images. Prima’s brother approached me at the end of the day and asked if I could photograph his wedding in India in a few months, I would’ve loved to, but I was already booked on the day. You can’t win them all.
Are you getting married soon? Drop me a line, more than happy to discuss your wedding photography.
